Q: Im considering puying pull rods for my 2013 ktm 350 sxf . Im a bit confused about them . I understand the geometry changes as to tracking handling etc. They seem to be commonly referred to as lowering links. Isnt lowering the rear going to rake out the front? I get that rider sag has to be reset and it would seem that then the forks would also have to be slid up. Is this correct ? I am not necessarily looking to lower my bike. What am I missing? Thank you
The DeVol Transformer Pull Rod is a part that can adjust the bikes geometry to your personal liking per track or riding condition. The geometry will change per linkage setting so you will have to dial in the rest of the chassis to compensate for the changes you've made. You will have to adjust rebound , compression, sag and fork tube height to get the most optimal feel out of your motorcycle to better suit you.
