Q: I am a b rider and just bought the lowering link. Will this not work for a motocrosser?

A: Hello,

Great question.

If you are a fairly aggressive rider or are jumping, we do not recommend the DeVol Lowering Link as stated in the description of the part. This is due to the fact that the DeVol Lowering Links are made to significantly lower the bike for riders who need to touch the ground for comfort. The significant lowering of the bike brings the wheel close enough to the fender that it can cause it to bottom out for those riders who are jumping or aggressive.

What we recommend for riders who are jumping or aggressive is the DeVol Transformer Pull-Rod. This provides up to 5 settings, with the longest setting at just enough lowering that it enhances the performance of the rear-end without the chance of bottoming-out for skilled riders.
